Under a multi-year IDIQ contract to provide A/E Services for the G.V. (Sonny) Montgomery VAMC in Jackson, MS, Husman Environmental & Construction, LLC (HE&C) was selected to provide all architectural , engineering, fire protection, and commissions services for the complete renovation of the existing approximately 11,000 SF Sterile Processing Service (SPS). The stated goal of the VA was to ensure the renovated SPS not only met the established guidelines and requirements of the VA, but delivered a more modern and efficient work flow to enhance the performance of the SPS staff. To complicate matters, there was no redundancy available during the construction of the project, so our Team was given the added responsibility to assist the VAMC staff in planning how services would be maintained during renovation of the space and a temporary SPS trailer unit was included in the Project.
